International Volunteers' Day '20

This is the day volunteers proudly share their experiences and contributions to CRY and child rights, in general. What makes this day so special? Well, this is the single day in the whole year solely dedicated to all interns, volunteers, fundraisers, content creators, and mentors. The decoration team worked for weeks to put up charts mentioning the various achievements of each intern and volunteer. On IVD, we recognize, acknowledge and reward all the people who work with CRY for their unconditional support to the organization.
Veronica and Smriti started with an open letter that highlighted the amazing work done by the CRY volunteers and interns. Veronica, then, mentioned the dedication of the volunteers of CRY, starting from the youngest (eight years old) to the oldest volunteer (seventy-five years old).

The volunteers are divided into four sections in Delhi NCR, which are, the North Delhi team, the Dwarka team, the RK Puram team, and the East Delhi team. But this time, there was another group of young student volunteers- The IIT Roorkee team of CRY, which traveled from Roorkee to Delhi to participate in the program. Every team shared their achievements through unique performance, there were street plays, group songs, role-playing, and even a puppet show! The audience was engaged the whole time.

The mentors of all the teams shared their experiences of teaching and learning from the young volunteers and the event was a huge success. International Volunteers' Day '20 will be marked as the compilation and appreciation of every single person's contribution in the forty years of CRY.
