PERIOD: Let's Begin The Sentence.

Menstruation, the flow which ensures the flow of life, is one the topic that most are hesitant to talk about. The taboo has existed since forever and has continued to exist in most parts of the society even now. The creation of a menstrual taboo took place independently and repeatedly across different societies and geographies. Analogies are used to serve the purpose by giving us words to talk about things that are considered culturally wrong, which happens in this case as well. This narrative crafted has had severe impacts on the mindset of men and overall well-being of women. The impact of typical menstrual taboos is clear: they can lead to significant challenges in menstrual management, adverse reproductive health outcomes, social ostracism, diseases, and even death. Dental Health Camp- Healthy Habits for Happy Smiles

“A child’s smile is like rainbows and sunshine, packaged with a ribbon on top.” To make the smiles of our little ones eternal, we, at CRY, organized a series of dental health camps kickstarting from our PAG at SWATI. The day began with great enthusiasm, at Swati, as the children slowly gathered in the projects's compound to satisfy their curiosity and witness the event unfold. The event started with a talk on dental hygiene by Priyanka (a paediatric dental health expert), who joined hands with CRY to spearhead the campaign, teaching children about hygienic dental practices, particularly emphasizing on teeth and gum illnesses and measures to prevent them. This was followed by something that caught everybody’s interest- A free Dental Screening! Patient Cards were handed out to all the children present there, providing a summary of the oral health of the child and areas of improvement.
